once upon a time,

in a far far away land..

lives a poor family..

kelvin,his lil brother,johnson and their parents...

one sad day,

it was raining cats and dogs...

the father came home wet to the skin..

he looked so tired after been working for the whole day..

he was a can collector and support his family by selling it..

out of the blue moon, johnson came to him and asked for money..

he need the money for his tuition's fee which had been delayed for quite some time..

the father looked at him with a downcast face and smiled..

"tell the teacher that we will pay her the money later..im working for it"

"but the fee is suppose to be paid last month,daddy..im bashful whenever she asks for the money cuz i just know that we cant pay it", johnson added..

the father could only looked at his son's face without saying anything..

"johnson, dont be rude..its ur father u are talking to...",said kelvin out of fury..

johnson looked down to the empty woody floor and left..

kelvin walked towards his father and sit besides him..

"father,i think its time for me to drop my study and help u foraging..i couldnt bear looking at u,working all day long to raise johnson and me...i want to help u daddy", he said..

all of a sudden,the father slapped him on the face and stared at him..

"what were u thinking??listen my son,im still breathing and strong to support my child's study..

1 day when im long gone,

ive no name for u to be proud of..

ive no land for u to carry on..

ive no big house for u to live in..

ive no money for u to enjoy with..

but the only thing i could leave u with,education..

with it,u will have a name to be proud of..

u will have vast of land to benefit..

u will have ur own house to live in with ur family..

and u will have money to live a happy life..

thus,till d end of my life,ill ensure that u will get a proper education..

thats my promise son.."

kelvin could only look  at his father and started to cry..

we might hate him for being so explicit to us..

we might refuse to tell him that we love him for restricting our association with certain people..

we might not want to speak to him for scolding us when we failed our tests..

we might shut our mouth from wishing him night for stymying our love..

but we might never realize the fact that he always cares for us..

not just while he's living on our sides..

but even after his death..

then at the moment,only we could see the fact cuz we are just a normal human being,

couldnt appreciate something we have up until the moment we loss it..

but eventually,its too late already...
